About Melina Linden

“My work is rooted in clinical psychology and years of experience working with women navigating complex emotional and relational landscapes. Over time, my practice has evolved toward fewer, more focused therapeutic relationships — allowing for depth, continuity, and meaningful change.”

Melina Linden is a holistic psychologist dedicated to empowering individuals to lead richer, more meaningful lives by integrating mind, body, and spirit. With a diverse background in clinical psychology, yoga, and breathwork, Melina brings a unique, comprehensive approach to mental wellness for both individuals and couples.

In 2016, Melina graduated with first-class honors in Psychology from the University of Southampton, having also completed a semester abroad at the University of Sydney. Her journey into holistic practices began in 2018, when she completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Sampoorna Yoga in India. This training laid the foundation for her belief in the interconnectedness of mind and body.

In 2020, Melina founded Melina Linden Holistic Psychology & Yoga, where she blends clinical psychology with yoga and mindfulness practices. Her approach is deeply influenced by her ongoing studies and certifications. In 2023, she expanded her expertise with a breathwork training from Inner Resources Breathwork in Athens and a 300-hour yoga teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley in India.

Melina’s commitment to evidence-based practice is further demonstrated by her certification in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) under the guidance of Dr. Russ Harris in 2024. She is also a published author in the Journal of Technology in Human Services and an active member of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science and the Greek PsychedeliCare Society.

Having traveled to over 45 countries and lived in 8, Melina’s global experiences have profoundly shaped her holistic approach to wellness. She believes that understanding diverse cultures and practices enriches her ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.

Meet Melina Linden

Licensed Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist working with women who want to relate to themselves with greater clarity, steadiness, and depth.

My work is grounded in clinical psychology and informed by years of experience supporting clients across different cultures, life stages, and emotional landscapes. Over time, my practice has evolved toward a more contained and intentional way of working — allowing for depth, continuity, and meaningful change.

I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and have extensive experience integrating body-based approaches into psychological work. This means our work does not stay at the level of insight alone, but attends to how emotional patterns are lived, held, and sustained in the body and nervous system.

I work primarily with women who are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware — often accustomed to functioning well — yet aware that something internally feels unsettled, fragmented, or harder than it needs to be.

My approach is collaborative, structured, and respectful of the complexity each person brings. I do not offer quick fixes or generic solutions. Instead, I focus on creating a therapeutic space where depth, responsibility, and long-term change are possible.

Due to the nature of this work, I work with a limited number of clients at a time and accept new clients by application.

My Approach & Values

My work is grounded in the understanding that no two people experience themselves or their lives in the same way. For this reason, therapy with me is not standardized. It is shaped thoughtfully, in collaboration, and with care for your specific context, needs, and readiness.

I work relationally and actively. Sessions are not passive conversations, but an engaged process in which we explore patterns, test new ways of relating to yourself, and notice what creates real movement over time. This work asks for presence and participation, and it is designed to support meaningful, sustainable change — not insight alone.

My aim is for our work together to extend beyond the therapy room. Clients often leave sessions with a clearer understanding of themselves and with practical ways of meeting daily life with more steadiness, flexibility, and choice. I view psychological growth as a process that unfolds through attention, practice, and commitment — much like learning a language or developing a skill over time.

The frameworks that inform my work include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness-based approaches, and yoga philosophy. These are integrated carefully and selectively, with respect for both evidence-based practice and the lived experience of the person in front of me.

At the foundation of my work are trust, respect, and integrity. I value creating a space that feels contained and safe, where complexity is welcomed and nothing needs to be performed or rushed. I meet clients with warmth and curiosity, while maintaining clear boundaries, professionalism, and confidentiality.

I work with clients in English, Swedish and Greek.
